The 2011/2012 Waterski season will see seven different waterski sites across the country playing host to a total of eight tournaments, and it promises to be a very exciting season with two major international events taking place within South Africa.
The first international event is the 2012 u/21 European and African Championships being held at Lake Grappa in the Northern Cape from the 27th of March to the 4th of April 2012, where skiers from across Europe and Africa will be travelling to Kakamas in Namaqualand to compete.

BSC’s annual interclub comp is the Cape’s premier tuna hunt!
The annual Cape Boat and Ski-Boat Club interclub Tuna Invitational was at it again! Hundreds of prospective anglers gathered at Rumbly Bay near Simons Town’s Millers Point, in search of the biggest tuna this side of the equator! Conditions here are always testing, and anglers were up for the challenge. SADSAA’s Sean Bekker reports.
